About House of Webhin

We didn't start with a showroom. We started with a stitch.

What does heritage actually mean to a modern Indian woman who carries her world with her every single day?

01 The Insight · Who we build for

Meet Priya — the woman every bag is stitched for

She shouldn't have to choose.

A professional in Mumbai. Proud of her roots, but tired of choosing between bags that are "trendy" and ones that carry real craft and intention. So we stopped making her choose — and built around her, not a trend cycle.

02 The Story

One bag, because heritage deserved better.

Founded 2018 · By Richa Sharma & Sandish Jain · Handmade in India

Two finance professionals who fell deeply in love with India's handcraft traditions. They looked around and couldn't find a bag that carried the beauty of Indian embroidery into a modern, everyday life without compromise.

What if we brought the craft to her, instead of asking her to choose?
— the question that started House of Webhin

So they built one. Then another. Every piece hand-embroidered by master craftsmen — heritage techniques redefined for the world she actually lives in. Today, women across India and beyond carry a little piece of India's soul with them every day.

03 The Journey

From sketch to stitch, every bag is made by hand.

We don't hand the craft to someone else and slap our name on it. Design, embroider, construct, inspect and deliver — every step is done by the skilled hands we know, trust and pay fairly.

Step 01

Design

Every bag starts as a sketch — shaped around real use, not a mood board or trend report.

Step 02

Embroider

Heritage patterns translated by hand, stitch by stitch, by our master craftsmen.

Step 03

Handcraft

Panels are pasted, stitched and shaped into a bag built to outlast every trend.

Step 04

Inspect

Every seam, clasp and embroidery cluster is checked by hand. Perfect or it doesn't ship.

Step 05

Deliver

Carefully packed, tagged and sent to the one woman who chose it — never a faceless batch.

100% handmade — no outsourced craft, no shortcuts, no compromises
04 Our Values

Not just a bag brand. A living craft for a modern India.

Behind every House of Webhin bag is a generation of artisans keeping India's embroidery traditions alive and earning. When you carry one, you're funding a livelihood, not just a label.

100% Handcrafted
Every bag is hand-embroidered by master artisans — not a machine in sight. Your bag is one of a kind.
Heritage techniques
We use embroidery traditions passed down through generations — zardozi, mirror work, kantha — reinterpreted for daily life.
Artisan livelihoods
Fair wages, steady work and dignity — every Webhin bag directly supports the craftsmen who make it.
Giving back
We partner with PFA, Little Needs and Save a Stray — a portion of every purchase supports animal welfare in India.
